Hi,the bad reviews for this tricky antenna are true, dont waste your money, a DB2 UHF only antenna works much better than the RCA 1400.
Customer Review: Pleasantly surprised
This small, inexpensive antenna works surprisingly well in my urban location. I live in a center-city area with signals coming from several directions, and I had severe ghosting problems with my analog rabbit ears. I was prepared to buy a rotating medium directional rooftop antenna (per antenna.org recommendation for my location) when I decided to try this first- very glad I did. I get all my local digital stations (all transmitters are within 20 miles or so), with only one of them coming in weak (occasional pixellating and sound glitches). Not ideal, but 100% better than my analog reception. It is a little fussy with placement- the directions say that flat installation is preferred, but mine works better hung high on the wall. It looks a little strange, sort of like a floating laptop hovering on the wall, but it sure beats paying those crooks at the cable company.

If you're a professional photographer with steady hands, you don't need this product. For everyone else, you'll get three benefits from a grip like this: 1) The grip will help you steady your camera. 2) The grip will help you avoid dropping your camera, and 3) The grip will help keep your fingers from obscuring the camera's lens or flash. It's cheap and durable. Get one, heck, get two. Because your friend is going to see this and want one for herself. And you'll end up looking like a good guy :)

I love this, it's so easy to attach and makes holding the camera so much easier. I really wish it was a little bigger, or at least have more than one size available.
